Canada:
It
is at our discretion whether or not we are willing to let our RV's go to
Canada. Let us know in
advance if you wish to travel to Canada, so we can obtain a Canadian
Non-Resident Proof of Insurance card.
Clearance:
The RVs need twelve and a half feet minimum
clearance. We strongly advise not going under any structure less than thirteen
feet high.
Driving Lesson:
You are not renting a car. For insurance reasons, we
give you a short driving lesson in the RV.
The only times we waive the driving lesson is when:
(1) we are dropping off to
a campsite or a horse show, or (2) you hold a current Class-A or Class-B
Commercial Drivers License.
Drop off and Pick Up:
Renter(s) must personally pick up & drop off the RV,
unless other arrangements are made beforehand in writing (mail or email). If you would like us to deliver and/or pick
up the RV, just ask and we can accommodate you.
Remember that your mileage, gas and tolls begin and end at our Chicopee,
MA location. And we normally charge a
fee for delivery and pickup (about $1/mile each way, in $25 increments).
Dry Camping:
During the months of December through February, the RVs
have been winterized. This means that
the water has been drained, and the pipes and tubing filled with a vegetable
anti-freeze. There is no running water available. However, we make the toilet available to you
by filling the black holding tank with several gallons of antifreeze just
before pickup.
Gas:
The gas tank is filled at time
of pickup, and is expected to be returned to us full of gas. If
the gas tank is not full upon return, your security deposit will be charged for
the amount needed to fill the tank plus a $2/gallon surcharge.
Generator:
Three
(3) hours of generator use are free with each rental day. This is cumulative. Additional generator use is charged at $3.00
per hour.
Be careful not to run both the microwave oven and the heat or A/C at the same
time when using the generator, or you will pop a breaker. Switch heat or A/C to “fan” mode first.
The generator will also shut itself down when: (1) the gas
tank is 1/4 full or less, or (2) there is not enough oil in the generator reservoir.
GPS:
If you use a GPS device, make sure it is in Bus/Truck
mode. Otherwise you need to exercise
good judgment and override the GPS, as it may send you down roads and parkways
where it does not belong, and may not fit.
Examples include Storrow Drive in Boston or the Merritt or Hutchinson
Parkways.
License:
A special license is NOT
REQUIRED to rent either of our RVs. We
will give you a short driving lesson.
Methods
of Payment:
Mexico:
We
do NOT allow travel into Mexico with any of our RVs.
Mileage:
The
first 100 miles per each rental day are free.
This is cumulative. Additional

One-Way
Rentals:
We offer one-way rentals.
We only expect that you cover our transportation costs, not our time. This may include a one-way plane ticket,
transportation from the airport to the RV, and our mileage, gas (full tank on
return), and tolls back to our office in Chicopee, MA.
Pets:
We generally do NOT allow
pets in either of our units, unless we give you written authorization. Then there will be a $100 non-refundable
charge for taking pets with you in the RV.
Refrigerator:
You need to be on level ground for the refrigerator to
work properly. Most refrigerators can
automatically switch between propane and an electrical source (shore line power
or generator).
Rental
Insurance:
All
Insurance is included in the rental price.
We carry commercial insurance on all RVs that we rent. If there is
damage to the RV, you are responsible for the first $500 of the deductible
amount. We do not offer a Collision
Damage Waiver.

deposit is non-refundable. There are no refunds of your deposit should
you decide to cancel the reservation. We will however, allow you to reschedule
your reservation up to one year from the date of the original reservation.
Should events beyond our control cause the RV you wanted to rent become
unavailable during the times you wanted to rent it, we reserve the right to
substitute an equivalent RV. If no RV is
available to substitute, then we will return your deposit in full.
Security
Deposit:
$500 if parked at a campsite or horse show for 3-4
days; otherwise $750 for less than one week, and $1,000 for one
week or more.

covered by insurance, any unpaid parking/traffic fines, EZ-Pass tolls, dumping,
cleaning, additional mileage, gas, missing equipment, other amounts owing), by

owed to us under this Agreement.
Security deposit refunds are normally processed on Sunday evenings.

full tanks of gas, propane and water and sanitation chemicals. We also ensure that the vehicle has been
cleaned and washed and the holding tanks have been dumped. In addition we provide you with clean sheets,
towels, blankets, pillows, cookware, a coffee maker, toaster, toolbox, and
paper/plastic goods to get you started (paper plates, cups, bowls, plastic
utensils, toilet paper and paper towels) as well as hoses,
connectors, and adaptors. We also give
you a 2-hour orientation on how to use the RV, including a
brief driving lesson.
Towing:
Towing
another vehicle is not allowed on our units.
Truck/Bus lane restrictions:
Drivers
need to follow all Truck/Bus lane restrictions, as well as avoid driving on any
road designated as a Parkway, or any road with low bridges or overpasses.
Tunnels:
RVs
are not allowed in tunnels, because of the LP gas tank. Renters need to be aware that this
prohibition is strictly enforced in and around Boston, New York City, and
Baltimore.
Water:
Water
in the holding tank should never be considered potable. Bring bottled water (and other beverages, if
desired) to drink.
